When we're traveling on the Blue Ridge Parkway, we never miss a chance to stop by the Blue Ridge Music Center near the North Carolina/Virginia state line. On this day, our favorites Maggie & Bill Anderson were playing. You can order their music on iTunes or at www.vintageacoustic.cc.
The sounds of the fiddle, banjo, and guitar are likely to welcome you when you visit the Blue Ridge Music Center. You can experience regional traditional music each day of the week with FREE, local mountain musicians playing on the breezeway of the visitors center from noon - 4 p.m. They also have an active paid concert series every summer. Be sure to make this a 'must see' stop on your parkway visit. It is always entertaining.
